Cabo San Lucas is the cruise port at the tip of the Baja peninsula — the marina town where ships anchor offshore and tender guests ashore. It is not San José del Cabo (the quieter colonial town up the corridor) and not a generic “Los Cabos” berth on your itinerary.
Cabo San Lucas is a tender port: cruise ships remain offshore and guests travel ashore by tender to the marina / port tender facilities. Scheduled arrival and departure times are not guaranteed usable shore time — leave margin for tendering both ways. We do not invent a numeric tender buffer. Cabo San Lucas is not San José del Cabo and not a generic Los Cabos berth.
What to expect ashore
The tender landing puts you in the marina belt — Land’s End and El Arco are the signature rock formations, with town restaurants and shops within walking distance for many callers. Excursions that push inland or toward the East Cape need longer printed windows after tendering.
